Personally I like the blue-red schemes, but I think Milky Way images are largely a matter of personal taste.
These Sony RAW files (I thought this one and the last Milky Way were Sony) are pretty amazing.

Nicely done. As far as tint is concerned, I could go either way, depending on the mood I'm in.

Regarding the dodge and burn, one small suggestion (and it is small ... the devil always lurking in the details). Where you brightened the snow on the mountain (a nice touch), the brightening spilled a little onto the adjacent sky. For that sort of adjustment, I would cleanly select the mountain to avoid any spill onto the dark sky behind it.

LOL, I usually do pre-select the object befor adjusting brightness etc but this was a careless last minute tweak. I have slapped my wrist for this ;-)a

Many thanks

All finished in SilverEfex and then some light touch up in On1. Cheers,

Lightening added in Luminar Neo with some dodge and burn in On1. Also added some rain with the On1 Weather filter. I suppose the calm water doesn't match the lightening and rain and lack of wind, which is something I can watch out for in the future. Perhaps a moonlit scene would be more appropriate, or maybe the MW.

SilverEfex and the Nik AnalogEfex, random Motion camera with some adjustments to suit.
I wasn't really inspired with this image; Looking forward to what everyone else pulls out of it.

Ran this through Luminar Neo with a Milky Way preset, which I didn't really like, but then finished in SilverEfex.

Like this one. Seems like the right feel for that image.

I am going to have to give this weeks win to Martin on his last entry.
