Hi everyone, been a decade or so since I shared anything, got out of photography and into some canine sports. My dogs are getting older, and I decided to get back into chasing birds and animals with a camera. It is very neat to see many of the same people still here and active. Looking forward to being part of the community again.
The previous gear has gone away, so I started anew. Been playing with a Canon 90D, a 100-400mm II, and last week got a Sigma 500mm f/4 from B&H. So far very pleased.
A couple shots from the backyard with the 500mm, one with 1.4x behind it. Pleased with it so far, expectations were that it met the same image quality as the Canon 500 f/4 I used previously. No complaints after getting the dock and fine tuning the lens. Had a little back focus wide open.
