Ran into the house to grab the camera because our redtail hawk was circling overhead, but he was gone by the time I got back outside. Maybe because a few minutes later the bald eagles were back! Got some interesting compositions.

For some context, the roofline in the foreground is my sunroom. Who would have thought you could get such great wildlife photos in suburban Philadelphia?

I have a 90D question to ask. When taking moon shots in manual mode I used to see the colored light around the outside edges of the moon. I do not remember the name of what I am talking about. I no longer see that colorization around the image. Am I forgetting a setting I need to use?

As I said I am in manual, also using auto-focus. I tried turning off auto-focus but I still did not see the lights around the image of the moon.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Yes I did get a good shot pretty in-focus without it, but how do I turn that back on?

Thank you for any help you can give me!

The 90D is still my favorite macro camera. This tough looking customer is (I think) a Dance Fly.

That feature is called "Focus Peaking" and it is in the menus somewhere.

Yer welcome. When doing searches, it helps to keep search strings short and to allow for variations. So it can be MF Peaking instead of Focus peaking. I just searched on "peak".
