Now, the Queen's likkle boatie has real style. So much more than the thing above it. I love the classic style so much more

And Dannebrog is kept busy - Queen Margarethe has two summer cruises around Denmark this year , visiting towns and islands. Even though Denmark is a small country, it has a huge coastline due to all the islands and fjords. No wonder so many sail here! I was invited out on this one last night - Lilla Dan - an evening of friends and beers and food and no work , lovely !

She was built as a training ship for J. Lauritzen i 1951 and been there ever since and is in beautiful shape (better than the company is sadly!) . This winter she was fitted with new lithium batteries so no need for the auxiliary to run when at sea - ancient and modern

And now something completely different …

I know nothing about this except it was on the Columbia River , Oregon / Washington states when I visited in 2019. But if it could do a tour of the wineries along the river it would be great!

Local village regatta on the River Thames. Not quite Henley Royal Regatta, which is at the end of the month, but great fun!

A lovely looking boat.

Had no idea she was a "for hire" boat. Just thought it was beautiful

How are you spelling 'huge' Chuck? Would it be 'obscene'?

Lovely little dinghy though.
