Jabiru in what looked like a world of strife with the snake wrapping itself around his beak. The Jabiru won on the day but it took him a good 10 mins to kill the thing and get it down its gullet :)

Looks like a water python, Liasis fuscus.

Pretty sure your lower photo is a juvenile and the upper a male, but you have a different race of them in Tassie than we do.
