I got these from a local roaster. I've been using 18grams in and 38-40 out at 28 seconds.

sorry I didn't take a picture of the final shot and I have no more of the beans to show. the flavor wasnt anything special so I used them as trials.

I had good timing last year and picked this up to replace my Explorer Sport. Gets pretty good fuel economy and works very good in the snow.

And I'm looking at getting a superauto espresso machine for the house at the moment funny enough

i'm still checking in here and there. not much to post. currently been looking at expresso machines :P

I’ve been slacking and just saw this. I’m a major coffee nerd and am down to talk about espresso machines at any point. Currently running a Breville Dual Boiler but there are so many fantastic machines out there right now.

The premium is about $90 USD for 17 gallons. We get 420 miles out of that. Since it’s basically a weekend / errands car that lasts us the whole month.

that is pretty good. i'm only getting about 180-200 miles zzzzz

nice!! how's your latte art?? :P

The breville pro is currently on sale right now at a tempting price hehe. I saw the oracle and it seems so awesome with auto tamping and auto milk steaming. pretty cool machine

Ha it’s pretty decent though I normally just drink shots these days.

The oracle is nice and the guts are basically the same as the dual boiler, I really like a Ev an external grinder and going through the manual process.

nice set up. not only one, but two acaia scales? damm lol how are they? I got cheap and went timemore. and is that the 3k+ grinder? you're not going full manual unless you get a hand grinder, better add that to the tools lol

i'm struggling with the latte art, i think i'm not getting the milk right in the first place. playing with latte first at the moment because it's what I wanted to have for getting a machine. then i'll focus on shots after.

what's your favorite brand beans?

I see only one scale, the other is a warmer? I have a digital scale too, but soon it only to set up the shot with new coffee beans.

Yeah I have a Lunar and a Pearl S, they’re both really nice but if Timemore had been more available in the US at they time I probably would have gone that route. They’re a nice value compared to the Acaia.

Not $3k haha but not far off. It’s a Kafatek Monilith Flat, I’ve had it for about 4 years now and it’s been a great investment. Don’t worry I have a nice hand grinder for my travel setup too, a 1ZPresso K-Plus.

Latte art takes awhile to get comfortable, just keep trying you’ll get the hang of it. Lance Hedrick has some great milk steaming videos on his YouTube channel with some helpful tips.

My favorite are probably Ruby Coffee from Wisconsin. Elixr from Philadelphia and Sweet Bloom from Denver are up there too.
