Well done S.
BBF is misunderstood. One reason is that Canon, by default from the factory, has Auto Focus (AF) active in two different locations, the shutter and the AF-ON button. No need to assign AF to the AF-ON button. Many think that the Back Button AF (AF-ON) works only to realize that are in fact double Focusing as they press AF-ON, recompose and then refocus off subject by pressing the shutter that is set up with AF active as well.
As the video instructs, we must remove Auto- Focus (AF) from the Shutter, or separate, as we now have separate buttons, the AF-ON to Auto Focus with our thumb and then meter and capture image with our index on the shutter………
You may reassign the AF from the AF-ON to another location * for example if you feel the need for some reason.
Have been using BBF since 2009 when explained precisely and clearly by a friend that allows me to help others in the world of BBF.
