I thought it might be a 302, but far more likely the number plate is referring to an XR Falcon with a 302. They were Aussie Falcons, 1966-1968. We never got the 2 door versions. XR, XT, XW, XY Falcons were all 4 doors. I'd say it is a 3 litre V6 as per the badge. I have never looked up the weight of a V6 Capri, it seems likely 1060kg is accurate. My Torana posted above was 980kg. Absolute feather weights compared to modern small cars. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Falcon_(XR Hosted photo: posted by Choderboy in ./showthread.php?p=19395495&i=i196138994 forum: Transportation Cool!! In the US they were badged Mercury. I think mine had a small v-6 but it was not a road rocket by any means. A functional small 2 door is how I remember it. Had no performance parts whatsoever. Ed

I reckon you would be flat out trying to find someone who could tune them nowadays. I had a similar set up many years ago on a Dodge 250 (Gold motor) Slant six in a VE Valiant. So much torque I kept snapping the right hand (low side) engine mounts until I had some solids made up.

No, it would be easy. You don't even need someone who knows how to do it, just someone who can watch youtube and understand what they see and now how to apply what they learn. Dave
