A little green screen work with a Class of 2022 graduate.
Photoshop frequency separation and some dodge & burn.

Turned out great! And that is contrary to reports that green screen is not so useful for still photography.

Thank you! Yes, it does work, if you have the proper distance, lighting and software for extraction. I have a photog friend that helped me get everything right and he does youth sports photography with success in his area.

Been "shooting" this young man for several years. He's matured a lot recently, and was actually fun to shoot with this time! lol

....and the very last Class of 22 session. Was fortunate to photograph this young man's two older brothers in previous years. This one seemed a lil more "focused", which I found "odd" in the "baby" of the family.

Second one is natural light which is kind of rare for me.

On the bowling one I don't think you got the text completely masked out.

If you're talking about the number 22 on the lane. That's exactly what I was shooting for. I actually started to desat completely, and turn the opacity down even more.

Gotcha!!! it took me a minute to figure it out, because the print file and original edit doesn't show it. It looks like I turned the opacity to 90% on the layer above the text while saving the file for online sharing. Not gonna blame it on alcohol, lol. Fortunately, like I said, it's not in the print files. Good catch though!!! Thanks.
