Repeating threes and nines - I really don't like where they put the decimal place!

(is that apostrophe okay? seems odd to have one on Three's and not one on Nines but tried it either way & looked worse with one each - I'm sure someone will know... :-) )

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:

Repeating Three's and Nines . . .

(is that apostrophe okay? seems odd to have one on Three's and not one on Nines but tried it either way & looked worse with one each - I'm sure someone will know... :-) )

As usual, I can help with that kind of thing. The apostrophe shouldn't be there. These are simple plurals, so it's "threes and nines." The decision isn't driven by esthetics.

I think that depends on when the image was shot, not when you post it. . At least after reading the rules carefully, that is my understanding. . Glad you posted it because that is certainly some serious repetition going on there!

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

I took the shot a few moments before posting... So today, Tuesday. I think technically I was late, but Joayne hadn't posted the new theme yet so I snuck it in :)

In most weeks, there's a gap between Monday sunset and joayne's announcement of the next theme, typically half a day or so. I've interpreted this interval as a dead zone as far as shooting for this thread is concerned. Now I wonder whether how important that is.

Yeah, technically, there is a time period in which no photos taken will fit into any WWPW thread. . Not sure if that is intentional or not, but I think the spirit of the rules is that we are inspired to go out and shoot the theme, so personally I am glad to see you post your shot!

While confessing: my moon shot was really wee bit out of frame too, in that the sun here on the far east coast was a bit below the horizon because of surrounding hills, though the sky was still quite light: lighter than the photo suggests. :-)
