these are living mannequins called Mannequins with Meaning or something like that.

they are sponsored by a group/person/business and they do this modeling for a local charity.

they all have numbers, and you stuff the 'ballot box' with dollars, for either your favorite charity or for your favorite mannequin. at the end of 2 nights, the charity box with the most dollars, gets ALL the dollars. this is like the 12-16th year that theyve done it that im aware of.

since you mentioned my 'reportage' here's an overview shot.

the stage im standing on, is where all of the Mannequins stood after being introduced. name, likes/hobbies/what theyre doing (work/school etc) who their stylist was, sponsor, and who the non-profit they represent.

no one else bothered to shoot an overall. maybe thats why i cant get out of the photojournalist mode and into the PAYING GIG mode. everyone loves my work but no one wants to pay for anything i do...
