I think I've been there, in my childhood. I'm from the area (north of the border), so it's entirely possible. I wouldn't have had that perspective, of course. It's just a weird feeling of deja vu. I really like the photo.

![]() Not 100% sure, but I think it is to let the driver know that a curve is approaching, as that road merges onto another if one turns around from the shot. (Just a guess) I believe if I remember correctly, they are raised as well. Me and my Canon EOS200D ..
