20fps does help in some situations to catch the precise moment.This week i'm shooting pro horsejumping and dressage. Today i tested shooting with both my RF100-500 as you see in the first photo and also with my ancient but still working Canon EF 400/2.8L USM.
There is a difference, but not a huge one between the two.

You caught the perfect moment in those jumps - I would imagine easier to do with the r5 as well. Love dressage, I miss my horses. RF 100-500 is my next lens I think...
