I had the Ruger "Alaskan " or Kodiak or something like that. A big "extra" Super-RedHawk.
I think the first revolver chambered in that caliber was Freedom Arms single action. The Bull was Taurus, and that came a little while after I stopped shooting mine.

Big pass on that one for me!!! I think that the gun was more dangerous than anything you could hunt with it!!!!! :)

Anyone know what the A and G settings are for?
I was visiting a customer who had these unique door stops.

Advanced Multi Purpose Round. AMP XM1147. Three methods of detonation. Contact, delayed detonation, and ground proximity.
Point contact, blow a hole in a tank, delayed, open a breach in a heavily fortified wall, ground proximity, uses a radio frequency to detect the ground, is useful in anti-personnel engagements.
