Got out over the weekend to the Olympic National Forest for a couple of easy ones. These are both about .1 or .2 mile walks with big rewards. Lighting wasn't ideal as I'm more of an opportunist than a strict planner. I might go back to Rocky Brook Falls at some point in the future for an earlier morning shot without light on the falls.

I disagree with your comment about the lighting. I think the rays of light coming through the trees adds a very interesting element to this photo. Nicely done.

Thanks a lot, I really appreciate that. I agree, it does add some interest to the photo. It's just not what I'm typically looking for in a waterfall photo.
