Elizabeth Town cricket ground. Long fallen into disuse
Up to late 60's nearly every small town or locality had its own cricket and football teams
This is one such ground and club house as we would call them today

Is this a reflection of 'Strine' cricket 'Bruce':twisted::eek:

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!

I guess a building from 1895 counts as old...

This is the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, North Carolina. My wife drug me here against my will many years ago but it is now one of our favorite places to go (the estate, not the city so much) They have their own winery on the property and many activities you can plan through them as well. Its a great place to get away and has tons of photographic opportunities.

Ah, yes. Biltmore. Thanks.

I'd love to visit someday.
Chock-full of incredible antiques, architecture and history.
It's a significant part of US history.

An unusual two storey brick Georgian building standing at the street front and a major townscape element in Carrick. Constructed about 1850 as a shop and dwelling, the building is notable for its fine Flemish and English bond brickwork with patterning resulting from the use of red and dark blue bricks. The shop window features a three bay facade, the rest of the building has twelve pane windows. Shopfront and door altered. Shopfront has timber casing. Two storey brick skillon addition at rear, also one storey timber skillion.

Apologies for the wires - not good at removing such.
Be nice to take them out
