Came across a pair of juvenile Cooper’s Hawks while we were out shooting flowers. The first shot is a slight crop, the second the full frame.

This guy perches here everyday and waits for a fish to swim by before pouncing. He also jealously defends his turf, yelling at any other osprey that dare want to fish the same spot!
