So you control the aperture from your EF body then transfer your EF lens to your GFX body?

Would you happen to know at what focal length hard (not soft) vignetting will start to bother you?

I also notice your shutter is at 1/500 was that intentional to offset the 0.8 crop factor to avoid lens blur?

Have you used the Fringer GFX body to EF lens adapter that allows for electronic aperture & focus control?

I get electric aperture control using either the kipon or techart adapters.

These shots were handheld with enough light to get good shutter speed. I wasn’t paying much attention to it really. Same with vignetting.

Usually around 35mm or wider, the vignetting kicks in. Its bad on the 28 Otus for example.

Thank you for the reply. So anything wider than 35mm is when vignetting becomes noticeable on EF lenses.

I read that Canon tiltshift lenses like the TS-E 17mm f/4L suffers little to none of this.

I don't believe that would w0ork. EOS apertures are spring loaded to be "always wide open" they only stop down when taking a photo, after focus is achieved.

I stumbled upon SeattleSpeedster's work when I was looking over the Canon EF 200mm f/1.8L USM gallery. I was surprised that he was using a Fujifilm GFX 50S & GFX 100 body with it.

I always wanted to go medium format but replicating my EF L lenses onto FujiFILM, Hassleblad, Leica or Pentax system made zero sense to me.

For nearly 2 decades Nothern Lights held out hope that Canon would offer a medium format crop or full frame of their own.
