Your duck looks like a New Zealand shoveler Anas rhynchotis variegata. Very striking duck. Interesting clouds. We've been having a lot of rainbows lately and long complete ones like yours. Attractive landscape. Thanks Richard. Olympus M1 MkII, Olympus M5 MkIII: Lenses covering 8 - 300mm

Very occasionally I have glimpsed one in passing. Maybe it's because our land is becoming too dry, as I seem to recall seeing more of them when I was a child, tadpoling and such ..... That does surprise me ,perhaps it’s a case of not looking at the right times , even here the life cycle and available viewing time is spread over a very small period . The eggs they lay can take up to two years to emerge . And once emerged the sole purpose seems to be to mate ,lay eggs and die changed systems to MFT olympus omd1-E.M1X , Olympus 100-400 zuiko .., xiaoyi 42.5mm f1.8 . four thirds mmm-2 ,, four thirds 11-22.. and pergear 60mm f2.8 macro

What a sharp lens one end to the other. Half the weight and size of my previous setup of a RF 100-500L lens which cost me nearly $3k and this lens is every bit as sharp and a LOT easier to handle, especially on my new OM-1. I sold all my Canon gear off after experiencing all this package could do. I now have 6 Pro lenses and a Sigma 56 f1.4 DC for my portrait work.
