Had a great walk on Sunday at Fogg Dam, NT and was lucky the shining flycatchers were about. :-)

Wow. What a beautiful couple photos.
Handsome fella.
Both are excellent. I particularly like the pose of the second.
Very nicely composed Ulrike
I see the female is markedly different and beautiful in her unique colours.

Beautiful photos Ulrike! Getting just the right tone on the feathers of those boys is not easy but you've managed it well, and shown off his spectacular mouth colours. PS, that stump he's perched on must have featured in a lot of photos! :p

Thanks Richard! Yes, I like the pose in the second as well. A female was also around but I didn't manage to get a clear view! Will have to go back :-)

Lyn that sure is a very pretty parrot
I love the setting. You did very well with your composition.

Is that holly leaved grevillea?
It's a delicate one. Looks like the bird loves them

Clipper, Lyn, Pippan, Richard, Ozulrike, - to name a few - Great shots all.

Re that ‘posing post’ If I didn’t know you guys better I would suspect someone is using taxidermists stuffed birds in a secret studio location for tourism shots.:-)
