spoonbill..saw a couple in southern England. They are ringed as they are quite special to our part of the world.

Not wild birds, these are 'Release Doves'. Selectively bred Rock Doves which are released at funerals, weddings and other events.
They were feeding on the local salt marsh today, presumably topping up their reserves on their way back to base after an event.
