Very good shot. Try to increase ISO up to 800 or higher and keep f/13. Camera shutter speed will be faster. In this way you will eliminate smudging picture by hot air movement. At shutter speed 1/20sec, even if your camera on tripod, atmospheric distortion starts to be visible. For planetary photography shutter speed has to be fast, some like 1/200sec and faster. Longer lens focal length - faster shutter speed. For faint sky objects, like nebula and galaxy - shutter speed have to be very long - up to 10 or more minutes.

Thanks for the advice! I'll give it a try. Again actually. I had tried higher isos before, but they seem to be grainier.

You use a 90D same as me.

This was higher than I typically use but this one I shot at 6400 ISO. This picture was SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera)

Yes, they will. In post-process in Photoshop or whatever you have you can clean it a little and picture will look better (more details) even it is a bit grainy. That is why the best way to do planetary photography is to take 1~2min video. There are some free applications to process the video and stack best frames in one picture. The result will be way much cleaner and sharper then single shot.

I shot these before I saw the post about using higher ISO, so I was still just using 100 and 200. Though I have to say that even between the two of those, I still pretty consistently like the lower ISO better. Post processing is something that I have barely started to play with aside from tweaking contrast and brightness. I did finally manage to get the same phase under different lighting conditions though.

Right at sunset and 30 minutes after...
