You got both mamma and her chick in sharp focus, Richard. Definitely a very nice capture.

I just noticed your comment of my squirrel shot, Charles. Thank you kindly Charles for the very nice compliment. I can't remember if I thanked you earlier.:oops:

Mike I've been asleep at the wheel and just noticed your comment re my little chicken :-)
Thanks for your kind comments, they are always very much appreciated.

This is really a terrific close-up of the baby alligator, Paul! You seem to run in to these guys fairly frequently. I'm guessing that they are fairly common. I'm pleased we don't have any where I live.:-)

Both of these are terrific images, RAL! I especially like the shot of the Old World Babbler. Very sharp image with a bit of humor.

Yes, Gators inhabit many ponds in Florida.
We were happy to see that youngster.
A huge Gator was on the prowl and I thought that youngster had been eaten.
Happy trails.

What a cool shot of that monster, Paul. I see there is a sign written on him that says, "Stay clear, or you'll become my next meal."

Oh man, fotoi...you got way to close to this ornery beast. But you did get a superb close-up shot!
