Out Standing!

Yeah I actually end up hiking a lot of those crazy 4wd roads - you rarely see vehicles on some of them, and when ya do, you find that your average hiking speed is > than their crawl/negotiation speed... it's kinda funny actually

A Summer morning view of a red rock landscape in Sedona Arizona. This was taken from the very rough, 4wd high clearance vehicles only, Schnebly Hill Road.

You can see more of my Sedona images (external link) here.

Always cool when you can get above a lower cloud layer. This morning on Mt. Evans. (photo tip - don't set the camera down on the hood of a car. Tends to slide off and hit the pavement with a bang)

That would be a yes. Set it down on the hood to pull out the cell phone and take a snapshot, stupidly enough. Heard it start sliding but I was too far away to catch it. An error message came up, but it cleared when I pulled the battery and put it back in. A little worrisome for a minute there.

There was much swearing and speaking in tongues after the incident....
