I agree with you...they are a beautiful bird. We are fortunate here in the central valley of California to get all three species of teal. The cinnamon and green-winged teal are the most common, but we do see blue-winged teal quite often. Oh man, Ted...your wonderful compliment definitely makes my day! Thank you very much. It’s funny here in Florida it’s about the opposite. The blue wings are the most common of the three so green wings second and cinnamon’s are tough to find. I have seen two in the last few years. Many thanks Marfy Lame-Duck wrote in post #19424249 ![]() This is a perfect close-up shot of the Superb Fairy Wren , Richard! Everything from the tack sharpness, the outstanding background, the perch she's standing on, and the big smile on her face. Very attractively photographed, Richard. I love the barbed-wire fence, the raven's nice looking post/perch, the lovely blurred background, and the bird's sharpness. Great photography! Thanks Mike for your generous and constructive comments & encouragement. Pippan wrote in post #19424398 ![]() Sacred Kingfisher @ Corroboree Billabong, Northern Territory, Australia.
