Outstanding portrait of the common buzzard, Sid! So true to life.

Thanks very much Mike, that's the closest I've been to a perched buzzard, it was only about 9 or 10 metres away and posed very nicely thanks! cheers! :)

What a terrific capture, Steve! I've simply run out of adjectives to describe the great quality of all the images you post. If you would post some of your non keepers, then I could come up with some new, never before used, comments. :-P :p

Yellow house finch... first time for me, in fact I've never seen one before. We get the red house finches all the time, so seeing this variation in coloring was really exciting and made my day.

Congratulations, this is quite a catch, Manny! Never have I seen the yellow version of the house finch. You nailed the sharpness beautifully.

My feathered buddy all summer long, George. He stopped showing up a few days ago, and as it is that time of year, I assume he departed for his South American winter home.

He's certainly entertained us and not just you Ltsed65.
This really is very nice. Colours, pose and detail.

Certainly an attractive bird Mike. Quite a pose it's got there.
You've encapsulated all of that beauty in your photo very well.
