Australia has so many different colored birds!! Wow!!

I think you're right but people up here often call them snake-necked darters. Easy to see why!

I shudder when they land on such, but they seem to navigate safely.

They're sure clued up.
Only problem is anything preventing those bins doing their contents exit job into the truck is counter productive

I like cockatoos, but they seem too smart to be kept as a pet unless you can give them a lot of attention. They are the bird equivalent of a monkey.

Next years the plan mate. Going to head up into the Cape for Golden Shoulders, Palms, Eclectus etc then work our way into the NT and maybe try for Broome in Sept for the shore birds arriving?
