Howdy!

Just got my 1200 in on Friday.. I'll post some photos soon! Here's it next to my RF 800 and I'll start posting results over the next couple days!

Congratulations on the purchase.

May I know how long it took you to receive either lens starting at the time of purchase order?

For the purpose of figuring out how many RF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM & RF 1200mm f/8L IS USM have been manufactured/sold so far could you provide a partially redacted serial #?

Example: If the serial number is 31415926535, 007 or 911 kindly type in 3141592653x, 00x or 91x

Do not give exact serial #. No need for photo proof either.

This data was useful in identifying how many EF 200mm f/1.8L USM were produced during its 16-year manufacturing run. To save you a click it's less than 8,000.

Do not forget to contribute images of your RF 800mm f/5.6L IS USM

My serial number is a single digit. All zeros and one number... Canon told me I got the first one in the US... not sure if that's accurate or not, but it seems correct given the SN.

I would not be surprised that these RF lenses will be less than 2.2 kilograms when released within 20 months

- RF 500mm f/4.0L IS USM
- RF 300mm f/2.8L IS USM
- RF 200mm f/2.0L IS USM
