It doesn't get much better than this Mike. One to frame and hang over the mantlepiece, such a beautiful and elegant shot, nature at its best.:-)

Cheers

Dennis

Hi Ted...

Now that's my kind of photograph. Beautiful light, dramatic pose and excellent camera work. So nice.

Tom

Appreciate your reply Tom.

Wow, Grzegorz, I am astonished at your ability to photograph bee-eaters in flight. I've had a lot of opportunity to shoot Rainbow Bee-eaters here in northern Australia. They are also very sharp and erratic in flight. I've taken thousands of shots of them with an R7 and various lenses, but only scored a handful sharp and in frame. Yours are simply amazing.

Outstanding shots Grzegorz.

I was on the river in a friend's boat last night and was very surprised to see this Osprey hunting. I haven't seen any in over a week and figured they had all migrated by now. There is always a hold out I guess :-)

Teals are pretty common in my area but they are difficult to approach. I shot these guys a couple of weeks ago ( heavy crop ) they are immature non-breeding plumage so not as striking as your example, your shot is really excellent.

sharp detail on the trio in this well composed image..nice light and exposure

Nice lighting. IMO it makes the shot. Your fantastic osprey shots are a dime a dozen. This one is a little different due to the light.
