I know the birds and animals here pretty well. I've always been fascinated with Australian wildlife. Especially the Outback.

couple from today. Bucket loads of rain hasn't put off the wrens
These two were enjoying themselves.
The difference in male plumage is amazing.
I've been watching colour changes but the first one below may have been same I photographed a month or more back. I really dontt know how long they take to change to their full breeding colours
One of the all blue boys was chasing a female with a yellow petal yesterday being amorous

Another couple of male Superb Fairy Wrens with just a hint of colour
These were only 9 days ago so don't think they are same as one posted yesterday

All clear for take-off, Comb-crested Jacana, McMinns Lagoon.

Nankeen kestrel. Wild, but perched in a tree only 5 metres high at the most, in a construction compound at Wollongong (on a work day)
