It's hard to tell the size of this bird unless I have something to compare it to, Pippan. How would it compare in size to a pigeon, for example?

Much smaller than a pigeon LD. I thought the tufts of grass might help; they're broad-leafed carpet grass, Axonopus affinis, native to Florida and other regions around the Gulf of Mexico, and widely planted in the tropical world.


Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

Very slightly longer and fatter than a house sparrow, and nearly always on the ground or low branches.
