Kirk you can also stack up your responses with the MQ button. Just hit the posts you want reply to with that and they end up in one post. Not trying to coerce you into it, just explaining how this forum works. There's a lot of little things in this forum that take time to nut out.
I'm enjoying your posts. Keep them coming.

Understood, did I do this right?

Oh man, Cog...what a great looking flight shot of this purple heron! You got perfect focus on the bird's head (eye)!

Thanks a lot, guys!

I think that this Peewee (Magpie-lark) was dive bombing its own reflection in the lake, believing that it was a territorial intruder.:-)

I wasn't set up for in-flight shots hence the too-slow shutter speed.

Cheers

Dennis

Excellent flight capture of the Turkey Vulture, EB! Like you, I've been doing some shooting with my 400 F4 DO. It's a great lens no doubt, but now a days I notice it's quite heavy to lug around.

What a great takeoff shot of the Red-shouldered Hawk, Paul! You pressed the shutter button at exactly the perfect moment.

I call this, outstanding camera skills, Ed! I love it.

Oh man, Cog...what a great looking flight shot of this purple heron! You got perfect focus on the bird's head (eye)!

Thank you kindly Mike.
The Hawk had lightened It's load moments earlier and pooped so I was ready for take-off.

Hi, Kirk. There are different ways to quote messages. It is easy for those of us who have been here a while, but can seem confusing at first. The best thing is to experiment a bit.

In a response with a quote, you will see QUOTE /QUOTE tags. We usually don't type between those tags.

Click on the "Preview & save draft" button to see how your post will look. You can go back and change things until you hit SUBMIT.
