Terrific capture, Rob!

Wonderful portrait shot of the common buzzard, Sid! It would make a lovely framed picture for the wall.

Splendid shot of the Rufous-backed Shrike, Paolo! Nice setting, great composition.

Both of these shots have a very artistic appeal to them, Kirk! If I were going to pick a favorite it would be the first image...the Reddish Egret walking the tidal pool! It's an eye grabber!

This is a nice sharp image of the Red Tailed Hawk, Mark! It would be cool to capture him on a tree branch, or even a rusty barbed wire fence post:-) (it would give the photo an attractive environmental look).

Wow, Tom...you really made an outstanding capture of this Harris's Hawk attempting to land. Excellent photography!

Joe, you certainly captured this Limpkin beautifully! Very nicely done!

Awesome shot of this male downy woodpecker, Jimmy, but how come you posted him upside-down? :p;-)a:-P

Thanks a bunch, Mike! Someone with a good eye for art I see, nice!

Whoa! That's a terrific shot!

Thank you very much. Depending on the picture, I sometimes try to imitate what I used to do with my airbrush by giving it a soft appearance.

Chestnut Munia, (Lonchura atricapilla) (external link) by Paolo Dolina (external link), on Flickr

A small, plump reddish brown finch with a black head and thick silvery-blue bill. Immatures are plain sandy brown with slightly darker wings. Often seen in flocks, usually in grassy areas, including lawns, but also marshes and rice paddies; prefers wetter areas than Scaly-breasted Munia. Gives soft pipping and clinking notes; song includes quiet slurred whistles and bill clicks. Native to southeastern Asia, but introduced to numerous areas including the Hawaiian Islands, Japan, Ecuador, and Jamaica.
