lol - A photographer I met in the spring at Delicate Arch ( https://www.instagram.com/pylepix/ (external link) ) knows Paul Smith, so he forwarded my image to him, and Paul got in touch with Tom Warner... Paul does a lot of night photography.. If you've not seen his work, pretty amazing - he's able to get those Sprites:

https://www.instagram.com/paulmsmithphotography/ (external link) <---- He's on a whole diff level!!!

A good reminder that you should avoid high spots in thunderstorms.

I don't know anything. But I know other things.

Thanks... I'm kinda "meh" on 'em to be honest.... I think next month I'll go for more distance from the arch with some telephoto compression and just get the moon above the top of the arch as a larger object... assuming there's an alignment... and then you have the ZOO of people to contend with...

Very cool rocks, Black and white for me. The green is a little distracting to my eyes.
But never trust my eyes, some reason I see a Rhino in both the versions.

hadn't noticed the rhino but it's definitely there!

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.
