Ok....

How difficult was that to photograph with your RF body & RF L lens?

Quite stressful to reply, like a student interview with a professor.

If in luck, it's quite easy. Meanwhile, if the birds is away at a sweet distance.

The tricky is to get the subjects in focused before to start.

RF camera + (RF) lens will do the rest once it gets focused. The combo will mostly lock on it. This is the part improved on DSLR IMO.

To think another way....there's always another way.

Pardon my direct language. I was in awe of your photo.

I am still on the fence to buy into an RF body.

plus one here..mirrorless has its flaws .getting focus sometimes more difficult than dslr..can be frustrating but you get shots which you could not have done with them...still got to get the right exposure etc..nothing is automatic :p

Wonderful capture of this white pelican, Joe! The clouds are a big plus in my opinion. Nice PP work.

Rent one, only way to see if its for you or not, without investing in it.

I might want to learn how to set it up properly for the shooting you will do with it prior to renting, or you could walk away with a bad experience of any given body.

Thank you so much havelock. This image is at the end of the gull vomiting. You are so right about gulls and flight photography.

I really like this shot of the Herring Gull, sogs! The somewhat unusual pose, and the sharpness of the gull is quite appealing.

Oh man...this is such an awesome capture, Sid! Plus, it's reflection is really cool looking. This is one of my favorites you've posted of the Common Buzzard.
