I feel uneasy with that pattern. Looks like it will devour me.

It does seem remarkably three-dimensional. The brown areas come forward. But it doesn't make me nervous.

Colors might be the cause of my unease.

.
It makes me uneasy, as well. . But I know exactly why it does that. . It is because there appears to be some sort of slight glare coming off of the surface, especially notable on the upper left and the lower right portions of the image. . The middle of the image and the lower left portion of the image seem to be mostly free of this glare. . The glare causes the colors and texture to not come through as boldly and clearly as they do in the center, as though the contrast and detail are a wee bit lessened because of that glare ... as if there is a bit of a translucent feel to it, instead of it being totally opaque, as it is in reality. . If the distracting glare was not there, I would not feel uneasy at all when viewing this image.

This slight glare effect happens in many of my Pika photos, where the rocks that the Pika are on have a bit of glare coming off of them. . Drives me crazy as I hate that look, but hate using polarizers even more, so I'm kinda stuck with having to put up with something I hate either way. . Ugh.

The colors themselves I really like, as they are quite complimentary to one another. . They are almost opposite one another on the color wheel, and I almost always like that use of color in photos.

Plus, the blue color is almost turquoise, and that is one of my very favorite colors in all the world!

.

"Your" and "you're" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"They're", "their", and "there" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one.
"Fare" and "fair" are different words with completely different meanings - please use the correct one. The proper expression is "moot point", NOT "mute point".

Turquoise is my favorite color too. Hmm, they say that characterizes us as fussy. Regular people would just have blue as a favorite color.

I was attracted to the colors and shapes in this surface. I don't feel any unease, but can feel the gritty texture of it. I wouldn't want to brush up against it. So maybe that is a degree of unease.

It's a very elongated flat leaf with a grill-like surface, not celery, more like a palm tree family, but it is on a small pot and I don't know how it will look like later, if it survives.
