I was out leaf peeping the other day, mainly using my new OM-1, but couldn't resist taking a few with the birding rig. A1 and 200-600. A close up of some fall foliage at Evans Notch Maine, in the White Mountains.

Hello everyone, I’ve been enjoying the images on the last handful of pages. Not been doing much photography outwith family/lifestyle stuff and also product/still life photography. No landscapes in a good while now.

However, after losing my first Iceland trip due to covid I rebooked it today for next April. Just need to have a think what gear to take now. Any input appreciated. Wondering if I should just take the 16-35 and the 35-70 and be done. Got a good few months to decide.

I'm enjoying viewing some nice photos here as well. I'm always glad this page is always alive.

I haven't been posting for a while here though since all my photos now are boring real estate photos. I can't complain because as of this moment my YTD is $117.5K with real estate only.

my mate just brought the a7riv and 200-600 yesterday and wanted to try it out. The gannet colony is a great place to shoot and I'm happy with my what my little a7iii with that lens can bring out. Funny watching him burning through memory cards with the 61mp

S0... Nowhere too exotic but there was a few places we wanted to go, a few things I wanted to photograph & a few things I wanted drone video footage of so we booked a Mon-Fri break in Minehead, Somerset to use as a base

I rocked the whole break with the 35GM, T70-180 & the Mini 2

Just realised there is a 70-200 GM2 now, is the original version any good? What’s better about the new one? Are there any other brands worth looking at in the 70-200 range?

Edit - just went down a Tamron rabbit hole. Thinking that’s the way to go cost wise.

Can’t decide between this (for Iceland) -

1. 16-35GM (own) + Contax zeiss 35-70 (own) + Tamron 70-180

Or

2. 16-35GM (own) + Tamron 35-150

Whilst the 35-150 is heavy it’s actually lighter than the 35-70 and 70-180 combined (although 150 vs 180 on the long end)

Anyone using the 35-150 for landscape?
