What's cool about those, is that you would need a solid 20-25' ladder to get anywhere near them - when they built the road, they had to remove the alluvial fan like slope - you can see where that slope was today with a clear outline... So the road building created access for more people, while mitigating the ability of people to get close to them to cause havoc..
