Quite pleased with the new camera and preset adjustments, happier with the colours now. On the Sony A7Rv - as I mentioned before I've only recently got the 7iv, so I've no need to change anytime soon. I obsessed on the LCD quality before and was really disappointed by the LCD spec on the 7iv. However, despite the relatively low res, the images look really nice on the new camera - sooo different to the 7iii. So that combined with better ergonomics and a bit more resolution, will hopefully keep me quiet for a while! Mind you - that new bulb timer wouldn't go amiss as a firmware update to the 7iv! ![]() I love this. David | Flickr

A7C, for all its quirks as a pro body, has a really nice AF system. That said, a7rIV gets the job done....AF quirks on Sony body these days tend to be a matter of the lens these days (at least for me). Generally I think gear has hit a mature point where what I have does what I need, so as long as I keep my impulsiveness occupied elsewhere, camera GAS is kept at bay lol. I did almost buy the Tamron 35-150 a few times this fall. It still a maybe, but I've rented the lens and don't see it replacing the Bigma/85GM combo for me though it is nice to use a single lens for the entirety of a shoot/event.

I have an A7C coming because we're going to Disneyland soon. I'm going to follow that body from now on. With what I do, that should be more than enough. A7c is better in real world use than the specs indicate. Yes the viewfinder is small, its EFCS only, and maxes out at 1/4000s, but aside from sort of edge case scenarios (depending on what you shoot), its a very capable body and I find myself using it for more serious shooting than I expected to. For casual shooting, pair it with compact lenses (and there are a lot of high quality options now) and the fun factor is high. focalpointsphoto.com
