Still not much action here.

Take it away Stiga, you get the win this time.

Post Processing Game 8th Nov. 2022

Pretty simple idea!

I post a picture, and everyone downloads it, plays around with it and then posts their version of it. After a week or so, I come in, choose the one I like best, and that person posts their own photo. We spend the next week playing with theirs, and then they choose a winner. Repeat ad nauseum.

A few rules...

When you post a photo, leave it as it was straight out of camera.

And don't go overboard with the editing. So no adding in sharks jumping out of the water for extra coolness. The idea is to finish the photo, not to edit it so much that it's unrecognizable.

Problem Photos, please tell us how you process-commercial purposed them
All are free to use for non

I am denied access to Google Drive, even though I am signed in to Google. Not sure what that's about.

Or better yet, use one of the other free file transfer services. Google is evil.

Mnn, sorry about that. I did test the links before posting. Rather than mess around, I have put the images on pCloud and altered the links above..

Agreed, Google is evil!

You can't test it from your machine - you always have access. I've found w/ google, you have to set it and then usually go back in and make sure it's set to anyone w/ the link.

After sundown, no more haze. :!: Not competing, just playing.

I did an image search on Hallstatt, and that must be one of the most photographed villages in the world -- and mostly from the vantage point of this photo. A charming little village!

Just practicing - lots of luminosity masking on this one.

Started with some shadow/highlight adjustment to make the highlights in the sky pop some more. Then did some Level adjustments to enhance this, followed by a orange lens filter adjustment which I enhanced with an HSL edit. Boosted the clarity, made a selection of the middle island to copy past it and give it an HSL adjustment to lighten up the green a bit so it catches the eye more. Made a selection of the clouds on the top left and copy/pasted that. Did some extra clarity on that to give it more sharpness and boosted the shadows a tad to make the whole image feel somewhat brighter.

Interesting sky but I feel that the foreground is a tad dark

Side-stepped the problem sky in this one via NEO's sky replacement. Erased flare in foreground and then various adjustments (highlights and shadows, toning, landscape enhancement) plus a run through the new NEO HDR component.

This version used above output from NEO and pushed it through Aurora, using preset cool landscape (at 40%).

Why not a couple more? No sky replacement but "defined" the sun by adding rays and foreground / sky adjustments in NEO. Removed flare.

As above, final run for this version using Aurora (realistic landscape at 60%)

Rob's impressive efforts with image #2 have spurred me on to tackle it as well

#1 PL6 > SNS-HDR > dodge and burn in PS, remove con-trail & crop

IMAGE: https://i.postimg.cc/fbbWphR3/IMG-2395-Dx-O-copy.jpg

#2 As above > replace sky with Luminar AI

IMAGE: https://i.postimg.cc/VL3jzDCL/4-Luminar-copy.jpg

#3 Same as #2
