Beautiful capture!!

Seems you were kinda close at only 157mm focal length....

Thank you Charles.
That Bear was a mellow fellow.
It liked to sit under the fruit tree and munch on pears.:-)

That's a beauty, fotoi! Very nice done close-up portrait!

What an outstanding Black Bear close-up portrait, Paul! This one actually has a friendly looking face.

Thank you for the kindly compliment Mike, much appreciated.
That Bear sure had a charming personality.:-)

While we did not see the actual killing we heard it and then saw Mom tearing out of the lake where was fishing to drive off the male and protect (successfully) her other three cubs. As our workshop leader reminded us, it's actually good that tourists get a reminder that real nature is not like a Disney movie

Wow...what a vividly colored Fairy Wren, Dennis. This guy is truly gorgeous. Great shot!

What a charming shot this is Paul. Mama and her little bumble bees! It is quite an attractive capture.

Terrific shot...beautifully composed, Cog! I surely do like this one.

Both of these Indian silverbill shots are outstanding captures, Cog! Very nicely composed.

Wow...this shot is definitely a winner, fotoi! It is so beautiful and nicely composed!

What a crack'in shot, Dave! It would look beautiful hanging on the wall in anyone's house.

Gorgeous, Tom! What an eye grabber.

This shot is a real beauty, Steve! I remember loving my 40D. This shot proves how nice a camera it is...especially when coupled with the Canon 70-200mm lens.

Such a stunning close-up shot of this mature bald eagle, Ed!
