=Cap'n Fishy;19445887]A chance encounter today. I was not out to photograph birds, and I had the 70-200 mm lens on - so very heavy crop. The beaters on the pheasant shoot flushed a barn owl. Not seen it for a couple of years and don't know if it is the same one from 2 years past, but it was in the same spot... so... Anyway, it was nice to see it again.

darn I would be happy with that !! lovely detail and exposure. You don't always need a ' in your face shot' to get a good image

I like your kite shots. You got the bird great despite the light, including those sinister burning eyes! Very nice.

Little egret

Beautifully captured shot of the Little Egret, RAL! I get the sensation that this guy is floating on a cloud. It's a very appealing shot. The dragonfly ain't too shabby either. You need to start a thread and call it, dragonflies in flight(DIF).
