Steve these are indeed beautiful birds and very nicely composed
Incredible details and colours
They're tall birds and I read long lived, 20-30 years.

Many thanks for your comments, Richard! I missed that they have that long lifespan so thanks for alerting me.

Lovely couple of birds.
The wagtail stands out very nicely against the grass. Beautifully composed

Both the water pipit and the laughing dove are beautifully composed photos, Cog! Quite attractive shots.

Thank you, guys! I really appreciate your comments.

Nice one! He can't stretch anymore.

Great capture of the first one. That's a pose you don't see.

Wait a minute...I always thought giraffes had 4 legs. You're trying to pull a fast one on us.;-)a

This is certainly a colorful egret, RAL. Terrific shot of this long-necked beauty!

Backlit or not, Kirk...this is really a nice capture of the osprey drying off!

Very nice capture of the fox sparrow, Steve!

This is a stunning capture Kirk! You nailed it beautifully! Don't get me wrong, but I'm pretty sure this bird is directing an obscene gesture at you.

I know, that's why I directed my 12 ga. at him. lol! :-P

An under exposed bald eagle and an underexposed American white ibis on a better day. Thanks for looking.
