1970 Roadrunner
I remember having just bought my new 1968 Roadrunner, and we all thought these things were the ugliest creations made.
Chrysler actually had a hard time selling them.
Times have surely changed! :-P

I don't think they ever expected to sell many. They had to offer a certain number for sale to make their NASCAR design compliant with the "let's pretend these are stock" car rules.

My uncle had a 64 GTO convertible. We were away at a hotel/resort just north of NYC for a weekend with my family and his when it was stolen while parked right in front of our cabins. This was probably in 1966 or so.

One of the car world's greatest collectors and advocates, and a legendary comedian, Jay Leno, was badly burned in his garage on November 12 2022 - fortunately he is a tremendous fighter and has access to the best medical care and he's going to be OK.

Just a week or so prior, on November 6th, he was in attendance at the 2022 Best of France and Italy, a wonderful car show in the San Fernando Valley (not far from his garage in Burbank) with one of his "Specials", a 21.7-liter Botafogo Special. It's a monster car. Anyway, Jay was as always gregarious, generous with his time and eager to share his cars and rub elbows with his fans and fellow car enthusiasts. Best wishes for a speedy recovery, Mr. Jay Leno !

Oh man, I live about 4 miles from this park and I missed it. Bummer!

But I'm enjoying your photos.
