Thanks Mike. Sure is cute.
You'd have to adopt 2. Can't break up the family:lol:
More to come later

OHHH NO...I never thought about that, Richard. I'll have to get back to you about the adoption.

LD, or Mike

Nice capture! The branch is bigger than he is.

Two nice shots! I never realized they have brown eyes.

Thank you sogs.
I thought I might have to yell "Timber".

Terrific shot, Paul! That's a long piece of lumber to be hauling around.

This is one cute little baby, Richard...or should I say fuzz ball? What a great shot! I might have to look into adopting this one.

Nice shot of this Eurasian Jay, Steffen!

What a smashing close-up shot of this hen mallard, fotoi! You nailed both the sharpness and the color! Very nice work!

Ha, ha...took a little while to figure this one out, Ed. Cool looking shot!

Wonderful eagle shot, Ted! It sorta looks like he's backing away from something.

What a lovely shot, SYS! It make me shiver a little, just looking at it. ;-)a

This is a very interesting, colorful looking bird, Ed. I can tell from your 7DII that this image was taken a while back. It is a very nice, attractive looking photo!

Many thanks Mike.
It was hilarious watching the Heron flying and skillfully maneuvering threw the dense trees.
Nesting material is plentiful after the recent Hurricane.
Happy trails.

Two quality shots that are very nicely photographed, Kirk! I believe the first shot is a double-crested cormorant and not an anhinga. I'm saying that because cormorants have those beautiful blue eyes, and the anhingas do not. Also Anhingas have pointed beaks that do not curve at the tip, like the cormorants beaks do. I love the shot of the blue heron. It is tack sharp and nicely composed. very appealing.

I'm laughing at myself because my moment of stupidity was captured for all to see. I knew it was a cormorant and I can't think of why I said "anhinga" to save my life. They say I haven't been the same since the accident. :-P
