Wow:eek:...I thought fish were pretty much their entire diet. I never knew they could/would eat a duck.

I'm surprised, too, just because ducks are usually fairly large. I don't have pictures, but I saw one trying to eat a pigeon in London UK near the Serpentine. It seemed that whoever got tired first lost, as the pigeon kept trying to escape the pouch. I'd have though a duck was too large, but I won't argue with the evidence :-)

These were from my Ecuador trip a couple years ago. The bird is a Manakin. Both photos were Topazed.
