Those long, dark, bitter cold, northern wintry days can sure drive a person buggy. I set-up a remote flash on a tripod and positioned it in front of our old Apple tree. I shot from about 17 feet (5 meters) away with a remote flash trigger. This set-up allowed me to increase the shutter speed to 3200 (high speed Sync). The critters didn't mind at all and perched there while visiting our nearby feeders. Happy trails. Blue Jay Great shot Paul! Ted
