Assuming the photos are good...

Are bikini calendars a decent way to earn a little money?

Coming from a consumer point of view i dont remember the last time ive even purchased or been given a calendar.
And i think this speaks to the current market of photography where its becoming more and more difficult to sell prints.

As a continuation of the above ... www.boobiechristmas.com (external link)

Probably goes without saying, but there are naked boobies on that site.

I'm sure with the right market one might sell a few but it would have to be specific, not generic, and have a built in crowd that was ready to buy. It's just too easy to find whatever you want (sexy or otherwise) these days.

Red-footed or blue-footed?

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

If I had a nickel for every time I've clicked on a boobie thread and ended up disappointed!!!

So many companies won't allow such calendars in the work place.

I work for a large county agency. I'd get in trouble if I posted a bikini calendar.

That alone reduces the demand for bikini calendars, posters, and photos.

When you see my camera gear you'll think I'm a pro.
When you see my photos you'll know that I'm not.

I love naked women but I wouldn't look at pics of them on the train or display them in my office. I also wouldn't leave them around the house when guests came. Calendars are made to be displayed but the number of places where people will display them has dropped dramatically.

As my wife says "I have no problem with the waitresses with long legs and tiny mini skirts but where's mine? If you are supplying eye candy for the men you need to put the waiters in equally short shorts and skimpy tops for the ladies".

Men need to observe the beautiful bodies of unclothed girls regularly. Naturally, every lady would be happy to pose for a fashion magazine or men's calendar. A friend of mine decided to create something similar to please men. For each month, he chose a themed photo that featured half-naked girls.

Your first two sentences are simply not true. And why do you still call women "girls" in 2022? If you're literally talking about girls, there's a far worse problem than the falsity of the two sentences.

Such an interesting first post. I do hope you have nice photographs for subsequent posts, not necessarily of women.
