Terrific shot of this gorgeous bird, Paul!
that's a very attractive photo Mike
I love the colours and details in the plumage.
Certainly a beautiful species
That look in its eye is intriguing. Not sure what to make of that
Summing you up?
Thank you kindly Richard. We have three species of teal (green-winged, Blue-winged, and Cinnamon) and each of them are quite attractive ducks, at least in my opinion. I'm not sure about the look in the eye, except that they often squint or close their eye(s) while preening their feathers. I think I caught this guy just as he was about to close it.
Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo ~ Calyptorhynchus funereus
a group of these lobbed up at lunch time and muttered away outside the house.
I wandered out and grabbed a few photos before they eventually flew off.
This is right outside our house about 10 metres from it
What a nice shot of this Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, Richard! They are an attractive bird, and they appear to be fairly large.
Beautiful capture, SYS!
Beautiful drake wigeon shot, fotoi! You surely got some terrific color in this image.
Masterful shot of the Verdin, Tom! He make me nervous standing atop all those thorns.
Wonderful capture of this lovely Pine Grosbeak, Steve!
