A couple of Florida scrub jays taken near sunset today with new Canon R6 II and RF 100-500. First outing for birds with new camera body.

This pair are doing well. They have two surviving adult babies from last year after they lost one to a Goshawk and another to a bloody feral cat (that I later trapped and removed). They hatched three this time round and so far so good. This was 3 weeks back they grow pretty quick.
